形态描述：多年生草质藤本，幼时直立，以后匍伏，长0.5-4米。根细长，棕黑色。茎纤细，有纵沟纹，微被柔毛或无毛。二至三回羽状复叶或羽状细裂，连叶柄长达7-10厘米，稀达15厘米，末回裂片线形，宽2-3毫米，顶端渐尖或钝圆，背面幼时微被柔毛，以后近于无毛，具一条中脉，在表面下陷，在背面隆起; 小叶柄短或长0.5-1厘米，边缘有时具翅；小叶间隔1.5-3.5厘米；叶柄长1.5-2厘米，微被绒毛或无毛。聚伞花序腋生，常1（-3）花；苞片羽状细裂；几花钟状下垂，直径1-1.5厘米；萼片4枚，淡黄色，长方椭圆形或狭卵形，长1.5-2厘米，宽5-8毫米，两面近于无毛，外面仅边缘上密被乳白色绒毛，内面有三条直的中脉能见；雄蕊长为萼片之半，花丝扁平，线形或披针形，中部宽达1.5毫米，两端渐窄，中上部被稀疏柔毛，其余无毛；子房扁平，卵形，被短柔毛，花柱被绢状毛。瘦果扁平，宽卵形或圆形，成熟后棕红色，长3-4毫米，被短柔毛，宿存花柱长2-2.5厘米，密被白色柔毛。花期7月至8月，果期9月。
